Who we are
Our Mission
Our mission is to offer effective tools to support integration of refugees and other migrants to their new countries, through a variety of language learning apps and resources. We believe that media-integrated language learning is the key to successful integration, by encouraging understanding of the culture and values of a new society.
What We Do
Lingvis Foundation is dedicated to offering refugees and migrants effective tools for language learning which supports their ability to build meaningful connections to the new societies they come to live in. We believe that media-integrated language learning is essential for successful integration, and also for understanding the culture, customs, and values of a new society.

At Lingvis, we offer a range of free language learning apps and resources for refugees and migrants from all over the world. Our apps support learners in developing their practical communication skills that are essential for daily life in a new country, as well as cultural immersion experiences that support the development of positive understanding of the culture and values of their new society.

Dušan Stojanović and family
Lingvis Foundation has received continued support from Dušan Stojanović and family, who contributed with generous donations to support our cause in 2016, 2022, and then again in 2023.

The 2022 donation made possible the launches of the Lingvis Polish app and the Lingvis Polish Chrome Extension focusing on helping Ukrainian refugees in Poland. The 2023 donation will make possible the launch of Suspilne LingvisPlay early 2024 to help internal refugees inside Ukraine to improve their Ukrainian language and Ukrainian refugee youth scattered around the World to keep developing their Ukrainian language. The donation will also support our ,  R&D to leverage into new amazing features powered by Generative AI.
TGV+
Following the lead of Dušan Stojanović, the management team at True Global Ventures decided to contribute to Lingvis Foundation at the end of 2022. It also made possible developing the Lingvis Polish app and the Lingvis Polish Chrome Extension. With more than a million Ukrainian refugees in Poland this initiative is set to make a difference.
Spotify x PLUS1
Lingvis Foundation and its affiliated local associations like Språkkraft in Sweden have partnered with Spotify to leverage migrant language learning through Spotify Music. With music being particularly well-suited as a medium for language learning, the LingvisPlay format can turn any song into learning material. The partnership was boosted by a $100.000 grant to Lingvis Foundation through the Spotify x PLUS1 Grant Program in 2022.
